One of the most important phases of one’s academic life is the years in the high school. If you manage to earn the high school diploma, your chances of getting proper employment opportunities will improve considerably. Similarly, if you fail to complete your high school studies, you will surely have a hard time in getting a job and even if you manage to get one, there is little chance that it will offer you decent wages. Completing high school will allow you to enjoy your life more comfortably.

Today, even for getting entry level jobs people need to have high school diplomas. As soon as your prospective employer will come to know that you have failed to complete your high school studies, he might be wondering whether you are skilled enough to serve him as an employee. As you have not been responsible enough to complete your high school diploma, it might force your potential employers to believe that you are immature and irresponsible in nature. Your social status may also get affected seriously, if you fail to earn a high school degree. As a high school dropout, you will never succeed in gaining a respectable status among neighbors and acquaintances.

A recently conducted survey has shown that 68 percent of the prison population of the United States is consisted of high school dropouts. Another social survey has shown that the rate of divorce is also more among people, who have failed to complete their high school educations. Such divorces mostly occur due to economic pressure induced either by unemployment or low waged jobs.
